SPbU has simplified the order of filing documents for foreign applicants
Foreign applicants will be easier to enter SPbU this year. The oldest University of the country will provide the most comfortable conditions for foreigners to submit documents.
First of all there is a possibility to file documents in digital form using the official site of SPbU Admissions Committee. Moreover, the order of submitting documents using the personal account will be supplied in stages.
Foreign applicants will be able to use this way of submitting since the 1st of March and take part in the entrance examinations since 1st of June. This way is good for those foreigners, who are studying at Russia now, because they don’t need to leave the country at the end of the study and return back to Russia to participate at the competition for the next level of education.
The deadline for submitting documents for this category of applicants has also been extended. If an applicant needs a visa, he/she has to submit documents till the 21st of July. If the visa is not required, the deadline can be extended till August 20th.
In addition, St. Petersburg State University hopes to develop its successful experience of the last year to select foreign applicants by itself within the program of Russian Federation that provides scholarships for cooperation with foreign countries.
This year the deadline for submitting documents for applicants entering the Master degree has been also extended. They will be able to file documents in digital form since the 1st of March. After that they will only have to pass the entrance exams that will be held from the 14th to 28th of July. The deadline for submitting documents for applicants entering the Master degree has been extended for a maximum period. Applicants entering the full-time courses programs now have to file documents till the 13th of July; those who enter part-time courses can file till the 12th of September.
